This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Welcome to Mrs. Sydney's special education classroom! I have a wide range of disabilities in my classroom. Each of my students are unique and work on different skill levels. My students are full of life and energy. They are excited to learn and to enjoy activities their same-aged peers enjoy in general education classes.

My students get overstimulated by loud noises, which makes it challenging for them to enjoy using iPads all at the same time.

Having headphones will help my students to focus on just their work and not what is happening around them. Wearing headphones while they work on digital assignments helps them focus and stay attentive when learning.

My students also tend to have accidents and break their headphones. Sadly, not all of my students have access to headphones now. The majority of the headphones in my class set are currently broken.

I am asking for noise canceling headphones to help my students in a variety of situations such as: completing work, testing, and when their environments are too noisy.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated and go towards a great cause!
