My Students

In my classroom, we value one another and know that everyone brings something special to our room. We work on having a safe classroom where people can share their thoughts without being afraid of what others will say. We work together as a team to help each other grow and learn. My students know that as long as they try their best, that is what matters the most, and sometimes we may fail and we learn from our mistakes. Our school is a Title 1 elementary school and have a very differentiated group of learners.

My Project

My students are in need of headphones that will last. The headphones we have now have wires poking out, are taped together, have ear pieces missing, and just don't work. We use our computers a lot throughout the day for daily work to even assessments. Students use computers with our math program and watch videos that help explain the concept, they read books online, to name a couple of the activities.

Headphones would insure that students would be able to hear their computer only and be able to get their work completed.

As students are trying to work on their assignment, they can hear their neighbor's computer. This is making it very difficult for students to concentrate. Having headphones will make it easier for the students to concentrate on their assignment.
