Headphones for Classroom Kindles (And Other Needed Items)

My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Seventy-five percent of my students are on free or reduced price lunch. My school is a Title One school. This means we rely on donations and money from the government. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with many creative and meaningful learning experiences that they can use in and out of the classroom.

My Project

The main item for this donors choose project is headphones. We use kindles on a daily basis in our daily guided math groups. We play games, use them for reading practice, and practicing skills they need assistance with on a differentiated level. All of these things are pretty noisy, and we don't have headphones to use with them. The kids would like to be able to use the volume, but right now, they can't because it confuses them and makes the classroom extra loud. Please assist us in getting the headphones listed so we can enjoy our kindles. Other items are just extra items that I use yearly.
