This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are in desperate need of sturdy and reliable headphones to use with our Chromebooks, as supplemental learning opportunities. We use our Chromebooks in class for research purposes (in science, math, social studies, reading/ELA, and writing), as well as for various testing and learning games (iReady, etc.). These headphones would help my students hear better, support our learning, as well as support student independence for their learning!

Of my students, the majority (95%) come from low-income homes and are majority ELL (English Language Learners) households, where most families speak Spanish.
