This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are an amazing bunch. They come to school with a smile on their faces every day. One hundred percent of them are minority students. They live in a low socio-economic neighborhood. My students LOVE learning, they enjoy coming to school every day, and look forward to new challenges.

My Project

I am a fifth-grade teacher in a high needs, low income, Title I school. Our students are primarily English Language Learners and 94% of our population receives free lunch. The students are required to use certain digital programs as a part of their everyday learning however, they lack the necessary listening devices to be able to be fully focused and totally engaged.

Donating to our project will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
