My Students

Our school is located in a fast growing community with families of all socioeconomic levels.

My students are like little sponges soaking up everything they see, hear and do.

They love using computers for different learning activities, playing educational games, and even testing. Taking a test is "fun on a computer" they say. The students also love to read and listen to stories from cultures around the world.

They care about one another and helping each other comes easy. Because of this, everyone knows they have a friend. They work well together and are a great team. They are amazing!

My Project

Classrooms can be a noisy place when students are engaged in learning. Some students can find it difficult to block out talking and other noises that fill a classroom. Headphones are a great solution.

Headphones can provide a way for students to remove external noises that distract them from focusing on the task at hand.

Headphones also allow students to participate in differentiated educational activities at the same time. Headphones can help students completely immerse themselves in a story, just as if they were there. Rather than just listening, they now become part of the experience.

By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
