My Students

This will be my first year teaching 1st grade! I am eager to meet my new firsties, and to get the school year started. My classroom will be filled with almost 30 exited, sweet, and feisty first graders. I want to provide the best learning environment for these children in my classroom.

Each of my students come from different backgrounds, different home lives, and different ways of learning.

This is my first year in first grade, and my first year at a new school. My school is located in a low-income area where most students receive free and reduced lunch. The time spent in my classroom is valuable because they may not have access to resources at home that they do at school. I want to provide the best classroom and learning environment for my first graders.

My Project

With the start of a new school year, my students will be getting brand new technology! They will be using Chromebooks for a variety of studies, including reading and math. First graders get to have someone read aloud questions, directions, and more through online resources.

By donating to our project, you will help these first graders be successful this year.

Headphones will allow my first graders the opportunity to learn independently, so they can be successful in years to come. Technology is a vital tool in today's schools, and I want my students to have the same opportunity as all others.
