This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Kindergarten students come to school each day eager to learn, explore, and play. I teach them a developmentally appropriate curriculum that blends social and emotional experiences with academic learning. My goal is to prepare them for college and beyond.

Our school's mission is to empower learners to thrive in the 21st Century.

Our school serves a large population of English Language Learners with diverse backgrounds. It is a Title I school, and all of the students receive free breakfast and lunch.

My Project

My students enjoy using thier Netbooks to listen to stories or play educational games. They need a class set of headphones to use with their Netbooks. The headphones that we are requesting are versatile, comfortable and super-easy to use.

Having a class set of headphones will help my students enhance their learning by giving them the opportunity to listen to stories, educational videos or games without the distraction or disruption of others.

Also, by students having their own headphones, it will help control germs. Each student will be assigned a set of headphones and be stored in their cubbies.
