Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach in a low-income school district where the students are motivated to learn. Some of the students are trauma-sensitive and have areas in their lives that they have no control over. I want them to be college-ready, career-oriented, and have what they need to be successful.

I want to make sure that they have all the resources that they need to have a purpose to achieve whatever they desire.

I love their enthusiasm to become lifelong learners.

My Project

These headphones will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them the correct equipment to be successful in this new world of technology. The headphones will keep them focused on what they are needing in comprehension, main idea, sequencing, vocabulary building exercises, and focused note-taking.

This will also keep them focused to have better-standardized test scores, advance in technology, and become more independent and determined to learn.

In the classroom, we have Google Classroom and different projects where the students are required to use technology quite often. This will provide them the resources to become more advanced in computers.
