My Students

I teach Kindergarten at a rural elementary school in Tennessee. My students are so excited to be starting school and they have already displayed a love for learning! I am very excited to watch these wonderful students grow.

My school is considered a low income school, so fundraising can be a challenge. All of the materials listed will help to create an extraordinary learning environment for these kids!

My Project

My school is so lucky to be a 1-1 school! This means every single student in the building has access to a Chromebook. Using the Chromebooks gives students access to many educational websites such as Ticket To Read, Freckle, Accelerated Reader and so many more! These websites help reinforce the skills taught in reading and math instruction.

While this technology is extremely helpful, it can also be distracting as these websites all require sound- That's where the need for headphones becomes exponential!

With the use of headphones, students can use this wonderful technology to enhance their reading and math skills!

I also need a good set of speakers to plug into my computer so students can better hear what I play on the Active Board!
