My Students

I can truly say I love my job. My students are the reason I come to work. They are truly special children, and they deserve the best education I can give them. Most of my students live in poverty.

I love seeing my students shine each and everyday they come into my room.

My classroom has a welcoming environment and my students know that we are a family once you step inside our door. My students deserve to know they are loved and are in a safe and loving space.

My Project

In my classroom, students work hard to succeed but there isn't anything more distracting than hearing another person's computer or iPad. My project will provide every student with a pair of headphones for their one-to-one iPads. The OSMO will provide extra support for phonics and basic math skills while keeping the students engaged. This project would allow my students to be focused on their task and not their neighbor's and be engaged while working on basic skills with technology! Technology is becoming more prevalent in my students lives and I want to incorporate that into the classroom, where they spend a lot of their time.
