Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in this classroom are unique. They are considerate of one another and are striving to live out our class motto, 'Speak Life,' in the way they communicate with one another. This is a predominately low-income Title I school. The students in this class work hard to ensure a positive, respectful environment for all learners.
The students are in need of a class set of 30 headphones and computer mice to utilize with the Chromebooks we are receiving this year.
My Project
The students in this classroom are in need of headphones and computer mice to go along with the class set of Chromebooks that will be provided by the school district. This set of Chromebooks will not come with the much-needed headphones and mice.
Therefore, this project will allow funding to purchase a set of wired headphones and a wired mouse for each student to use (no batteries required).
Many of the students are beginners when it comes to utilizing personal Chromebooks and may not have the fine motor skills of using a trackpad yet. They also will be using the Chromebooks for research and online learning activities and will need headphones to keep the noise level down and concentration at a premium.
