This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need headphones to complete online classwork but we are still trying to avoid sharing. We currently share headphones 3 to 1 ratio. We take longer to buy cleaning supplies to make sure we sanitize all equipment being shared.

We got computers to give each student on-campus but now I require headphones for each student coming back to campus for the Fall 2024 semester.

We need new headphones to keep the learning process going. In my school, we use three learning programs Alek for Math, Achieve 3000 for English, and Khan Academy for everything else, which makes these headphones for each student very important to their learning and understanding process.

We are a hands-on learning class that needs to go back to lecture and note-taking style. Everyone needs their own set of everything to meet CDC guidelines.

We are a Title I, Performance Improvement school with 100% participation in the free lunch program. Many parents work two jobs and are struggling to support the family. Though their environment may not be conducive to learning, my students have an insatiable love of learning! I know that if we provide them with the right support, resources, and opportunities, they will become successful.
