Help me give my students headphones to support both face-to-face and online learners in creating independent projects and taking their learning to the next level with online resources.
My classroom is full of students who are advanced learners. I teach a 2nd grade ALC (advanced learning center) class, which means that these students have tested above grade level in reading, and some in other subjects as well. One of the most important parts of my job as an ALC teacher is providing engaging activities and lessons that challenge my students and require them to go deeper into their learning and foster their academic abilities.
I have diverse learners from many backgrounds that hold many talents.
I look forward to providing them with what they need to continue to grow and succeed each day.
My Project
Students in our class use technology each day regardless of whether they are in school or online. Headphones are an essential part of keeping students engaged, as the necessity to hear audio from video resources, teacher instruction, or classmate participation continues to rise.
One of my main goals this year is to keep my face-to-face students connected with my online students.
Because of this, we have a lot of online assignments that require students to listen to audio uninterrupted. This project is a great way to ensure every student has a reliable way to make this happen every day.
