My Project
It is almost the start of a new and exciting school year and our classroom is in need of some new and better-quality headphones. My 2nd graders have specific digital programs that they are required to participate in weekly and having headphones that are falling apart can be frustrating. There were many times when my students would come up to me with issues with their headphones and I would have to try and troubleshoot the issue. This takes time away from the lesson and small group instruction that I'm focused on.
Having some better-quality headphones will help lessen the number of issues with my students not being able to hear their individual reading lessons on their computers.
These headphones will be used this school year and for future years to come. Our classroom uses technology for many different activities, and having headphones that are reliable and work consistently will help my students feel successful and confident using their computers. We create videos and share our videos with not only our class but with other kids around the world. Having technology that works and functions properly not only helps my 2nd graders do their best on their online work but also provides a happier experience for them.
