Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My scholars are very inquisitive. We do a lot of inquiry and project based learning that require a diverse set of resources. My dream is to make my social studies classroom as inviting, fun, and engaging as Ms. Frizzle's (Magic School Bus). No one should be denied the joys of learning - which are unlocked when scholars have access to the necessary tools and supplies. By donating to our project, you will be contributing directly to student growth, academic success. and their overall quality of learning.

My Project

The headphones will have multiply uses. Most of the sets will be used in the classroom; however, there are a few students who will benefit from having a home set as well.

These headphones will be used to differentiate instruction.

All students have different learning styles and levels - so this item will allow each student individualized access to text through the immersive reader features. With these items, my students will no longer have to compete for sound or take turns sharing headphones in order to engage with the text.
