My Project
There's no limit on what we can do with TONS of supplies! My goal is to make sure we have every supply and engaging tool possible across all subjects so students are engaged and excited to come to school every day. My kids deserve it because they ALWAYS try their best.
This project provides little things we need to be successful in all our different ways.
Some of these big supplies will benefit every single person in our classroom -- headphones are one of the things we struggle to find every day, and I can't wait for every kid to have their own individual pair. Students will also get their own chair band to fidget with; the six flexible seating yoga balls will help in an even bigger way by letting students move and learn in their own way.
These things are fun and helpful, but what about our everyday needs? Expo Markers, dry-erase sheet pockets, whiteboard erasers (instead of Kleenex!), new pencil pouches, and tools to help students space words correctly during writing will help every single child in the room learn and thrive by having the right tools in front of them to complete math, writing, science and social studies. Keeping our classroom stocked and these items available to all 30 kids allows us to learn without barriers, and do our best work day in and day out.
But learning should be fun, too, so to help kids enjoy simple tasks like memorizing their multiplication facts, skip counting, or counting on, we can use fun rainbow Pop Its! And for all our hard work and learning, a STEAM magnetic building set will be a wonderful reward for the class who works their hardest.
