So few times these days are we equal. By gender, size, ethnicity, age, etc. we are discriminated against everyday. It is so important to build positive self-images for our children in the classroom. One of the few times we can do this is on the playground. In our school, we do this by playing street hockey. Simple street hockey can bring all of our students together. It's amazing to see girls and boys, big kids and little kids, putting all their effort into a game. For this reason,we need additional equipment. Please help us give these children at least one positive in their life! This will help reach our school population of 600 children (and many teachers!!). Students deserve to have at least one positive in their life, where if they're not the best or strongest, they can still be successful. Thank you!
