Having Some FUN with Legos!

My students need these materials to engage in learning about simple machines, structures, and mechanisms. We need simple and motorized mechanisms by Lego.

My Students

The children in my classroom are excited about learning. They love hands on learning and engaging in activities where they craft their own understanding, such as our classroom's Makerspace! My children are developing 21st Century Skills through collaboration, exploration, discovery and innovation!

Our school is very much a neighborhood school and an important part of our community.

They come from working class family homes, where education is a priority, but often due to our schools socioeconomic status we do not receive funding to keep up with other schools.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting will allow my children to engage in meaningful hands-on learning experiences where they will collaborate, explore, discover, innovate and construct simple powered machines. The materials will be used in our classroom Makerspace as well as in guided small groups.

This simply amazing set will allow children to investigate and gain fundamental understanding of simple machines, structures, and mechanisms through the use of Legos, software, and teacher lesson plans.

The Machines and Mechanisms curriculum pack gives children the tools to learn about pneumatics, renewable energy, and simple and powered machines effectively. It is through such activities that children develop 21st century skills and become WORLD CHANGERS!
