This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Student morale towards their schools has sadly decreased. After hosting a very successful Bulletin Competition with more than 100 students in our school, many students found a fun reason to come to school. Therefore; I decided to start a Decorating Committee.
The goal is for the kids to take pride in their school by collaborating with teachers and utilize their creative minds to decorate the bulletins throughout the school.
It has been studied and proven that students being part of their school environment has had long-term benefits in improving self-esteem and acting as reminder cues for educational information.
