Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want my second graders to gain experience with coding and robotics in our classroom so they can become global citizens. Allowing my 2nd-grader students to become literate in world languages with coding/programming is very important for my students' future educational and professional success!

The Botely coding accessory sets will increase my students’ ability to explore, create and be problem-solvers, collaborators, and thinkers.

These skills are easily transferable to all subject areas being taught at school, as well as real-life situations at home and in their future. I believe these Botely coding accessory sets will help my students to grow intellectually as well as socio-emotionally. Having the opportunity to use these accessories along with the robots that are on a different project will provide my students the skills to practice perseverance, self-motivation, reflection, and failure as a means of learning and growing as an individual.
