My Students

For many of my kindergarten students, this is the first time that they are in an educational setting as some did not attend a preschool. My main goal as a teacher is to help create lifelong learners who are confident and excited to learn more.

Half of my students tested very low on the KEEP assessment (beginning of the year testing), so they will need quite a bit of intervention and one-on-one help to get them where they need to be by the end of Kindergarten.

I want to have fun hands-on learning activities, so that students can learn effectively, stay focused, and be excited to come to school each day.

My Project

With it being my first year teaching kindergarten, I need materials that I can spark children's interest with to help them learn the required standards! Ten of my 19 students tested as needing interventions to help them learn the required concepts, so I need to make learning fun to keep their focus and to help him them make needed progress.

All of these materials will help make learning fun for my kindergarten students and give them hands-on activities to practice the concepts they have learned.

I have quite a few kids who have trouble focusing and staying on task, so I think these games, fun reading books, and materials will help me accomplish the goal of helping ALL of my students to learn!
