My Project
Our Kindergarten class has come a long way with learning together including working in small groups independently. We are an inclusion class made up of general education students and students with special needs. We have gotten really good at taking care of and assisting our friends in need of help and it carries over into our Small Group Instruction (SGI) time, what we call Stations. In each station, students focus on building math skills that we learn together as a whole group collaboratively. During Stations, our students are grouped heterogeneously so that no one is struggling with any of the activities with friends to assist anyone in the group who needs assistance.
