My Students
My pre-kindergarteners are the PRESENT! We all know that the young minds of today will determine the future. I also strive to remember that their present is just as important. Creating an environment that is inviting, engaging and conducive to learning is the ultimate goal!
Our school has a growing population of students who are English Language Learners.
Also, 100% of students receive free meals. Having a literacy-rich environment is essential to their academic success and enables them to feel welcome in the classroom community.
My Project
Hello and Welcome to our classroom! Our mascot is the whale and we are expecting HUGE things from these little scholars! These students are bright and energetic. This list of items will help them to grow as individuals and learn to work cooperatively. We will be able to have an art-integrated classroom as well as have literacy materials to help enrich ELL.
Little people sometimes have BIG feelings and many of the items will help us to learn, process, give guidance and provide tools we can use when this inevitably occurs.
The children can mold play-dough when feeling frustrated. They will be able to manipulate the tools when feeling anxious. We will use the picture books to go along with character-building posters, aids, and lessons to aid students having difficulties and with the This will aid the scholars as they grow and remain lifetime learners.
Along with character education, we have the essentials to develop fine motor skills, build social-emotional growth of every student. choices and independence, along with supplies for our themed centers.
