Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am welcoming all new students to my classroom as we return from winter break. The first few weeks of a new class can seem quite daunting to students. It can be a little nerve-wracking getting used to a new environment and teacher.
I would like to make sure that each student knows that I am there for them and that they can do anything they put their minds to.
Please help me to greet all of my new students with the gift of a small bag of treats to encourage them to have a "sweet" rest of the year. Additionally, I am requesting colored pencils and markers.
