My Project
During the school year, my classroom converts to a conference room for daily RTI, IEP, and student eligibility meetings. We typically have 1 to 3 meetings a day throughout the year that last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours long. Our conferences consist of parents, administrators and teachers. Everyone at the table is a contributing member to each student's education. Currently, our conference table is surrounded with uncomfortable, old, torn, and worn-out rolling chairs.
New and comfortable seating will promote a higher level of professionalism and confidence for everyone.
At the end of a meeting, everyone needs to leave happy and confident with the decisions that were made. The chairs that I am requesting will provide ergonomic support, reducing physical strain and increase comfort during the meetings. This will help ensure that everyone that is involved in the meetings can engage more efficiently in discussions, making each meeting more productive and focused on the student's needs. By contributing to this project, you are directly impacting the quality of education and support that our students receive.
