This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a Dual Immersion program where students become bilingual, bi-literate, and multicultural. My students come from culturally and economically diverse backgrounds. They come to school with varying degrees of interests and skills. Creating an environment where all feel welcome to try, make mistakes, and have fun is an important part of my job! This means that I need a variety of materials and varying levels to spark interest and challenge all of my students.
We all know that having fun while learning is the best way to remember and master skills.
The materials will help provide fun enriching activities in both Math and Literacy.
