My Students

My students are part of a resource classroom with varying needs. Many of my student have a background of trauma and an overall challenging life. I want to create the best space for them to learn in my room. Thank you for your support so my students can reach their goals!

My Project

With these new games and books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.

Reading is a struggle for many of my students.

Having a classroom library of variety is important to inspire them to read. Having multi-cultural totals adds to inclusion and connection with reading.

Using the games to learn to read will also support social skills by turn-taking and learning how to support each other appropriately. Plus, learning should be fun!
