My Project
I am privileged to work with some of the most amazing kids. We are a Title 1 school with limited resources but the academic growth shown by the students is unmatched. I am in constant awe when I see them surpass the things we teach in the classroom. This year one of the standards being taught focused on Nature and the parts of a plant, the students were able to take what they had learned in the classroom and were able to apply it while visiting the sensory garden I created this school year. The excitement on their faces was so satisfying but our time outside was cut short because there is no seating in our school's courtyard and some of our students have mobility disabilities. It is my goal to provide some seating so that the time enjoying our oasis can be magnified. The trash can we are asking for will help us keep our grounds clean while protecting our environment.
The students here at our Elementary school are extraordinary and make each day of coming to work feel more like a treat as opposed to a job.
I am so lucky to service such smart, and wonderful children and it would be magnificent if I could get help with funding for our project.
