Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with the students in our school that score below the 20% in math. We don't have chairs that are the right size for my K-5 students. This project will give them new chairs that will be comfortable for all the students I service. We work at a table and along with chairs we need a few organization tools so our materials and manipulatives are in our reach. We work in small groups so students have the most optimal situation to grow academically. Since my students are struggling learning the mathematical concepts I make it my mission to make our lessons fun. New manipulatives are very much needed to accomplish this.
