Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will help student with self-expression, fashion design and entrepreneurship. They will be wearing these hats as part of their fashion design with 3D printed shoe charms and tie dye t-shirts during our spring STEAM Fashion Fest. Our goal is to integrate Arts into most things, and many of our students love shoes and clothes.

We are trying to give our students an opportunity to find creative ways to earn money designing fashion accessories like hats, t-shirt's and other small customized items.

During our spring fest, students attend host a showcase where all things created during the last semester spring ceremony are shown. Many times in lower income areas, students feel out of place when they can not wear fancier, more expensive clothes and shoes. These projects open gateways to be impressed with local, young, design artists, not high end retailers with over priced clothes and accessories.
