Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in our school are culturally diverse. They work hard and are eager to learn. More than half of them come from low-income families. We have many students with special needs as well as many who are immigrants. Together they speak over twenty different languages. In addition, they all have different learning abilities and learning styles. They are energetic and curious about learning and participating in community service.

As a Title I school in a largely immigrant community, we strive each day to teach our children practical life skills such as community service.

We are seeking support for Halloween hats for our students to wear at our Halloween Fair. Your contribution will make a significant difference and ensure the success of this event. We are hoping to make our school community fair a resounding success. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on our students' experience and the overall sense of community within our school. Halloween hats are not only a means of self-expression but also a way to infuse a sense of community fun and excitement into the fair. They create a visually captivating environment that students and the attendees from the community will remember for years to come.
