My Project
Now that winter is quickly approaching, students are repeatedly coming down with one ailment or another. A classroom of sniffling, sneezing, and coughing students is a regular occurrence. Our district supplies bussing for students who live more than two miles from school, but many of our students walk to school and do not have adequate clothing for the cold.
I am requesting hat and glove sets that I can offer students who do not have them and cannot afford them.
Many of our students are low-income and are refugees from warmer climates. There are often coat and boot drives, but we often cannot provide them with hats and gloves.
