My Project

Imagine a classroom where third graders are not just learning about life cycles from textbooks, but are witnessing the miracle of life firsthand.

This project aims to introduce an incubator into our third-grade science curriculum, allowing students to observe and document the chick hatching process.

This hands-on approach to learning will enhance our science education program by providing tangible connections to concepts of life cycles, biology, and responsibility.

JRES serves a diverse community of learners in Utah. Our school is dedicated to providing enriching and engaging educational experiences that cater to the varied needs of our students. Our objectives include enhancing students' understanding of biological processes, fostering a sense of curiosity and wonder about the natural world, and developing empathy and responsibility through caring for the chicks. We anticipate that this project will lead to increased engagement in science lessons and a deeper understanding of life cycles.

Mrs. Phillips will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 31.
