My Project
We will incubate our own eggs and watch them hatch. Before incubation begins, we will learn more about eggs, chickens, and how to care for the eggs during incubation. Throughout the study, the children will research, conduct experiments, collect and record data, and observe the development of a chicken from egg to chick.
The incubators will allow our children to see chicks hatch right before their eyes.
They will live in our classroom to help further their understanding of an embryo's needs! The candlers will allow our children to explore the development of the embryo from day zero to twenty-one. They will examine the different parts of the egg and be able to see the blood vessels and different parts of the chick before it hatches!
