My Project
Students will be able to learn about how chicks are hatched through incubation. Students will observe the incubation period for about three weeks, before they start seeing how chicks break out of their shells. We will have a dozen potential chicks that will be hatched. Students will record the progress of the eggs, while they turn and test for fertility.
PreK students will be able to hold, feed, and learn about a chick's life.
This will also give students a sense of responsibility with caring for another life. We want everyone to grow.
