My Project
Many of my students and their families are unable to afford basic necessities that we take for granted. These include food, hygiene items, transportation, and weather appropriate clothing. I would like to give my students a hat and pair of gloves to keep warm this winter! My students will be able to keep warm on the bus ride to and from school each day, and also these items will enable them to go outside and play during recess.
As colder weather approaches, I want my students to find themselves prepared for the season.
Being able to provide my students with a hat, scarf and gloves is so crucial to keeping them warm and cared for. And being cold should not be the reason for not coming to school to learn. Giving these items to my students also helps alleviate a burden from their families so they can focus on meeting other basic needs of their children.
