This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In our quest to nurture creativity and innovation, we are seeking to provide our students with a state-of-the-art MIDI controller, a pivotal tool to unlock their musical potential and enhance their understanding of music theory and composition. Our goal is to integrate technology into our music curriculum, allowing students to experiment with composing, arranging, and performing music in a variety of genres. This hands-on approach to music education will not only cultivate their artistic talents but also improve their cognitive abilities, teamwork, and perseverance.

Our students are an extraordinary group, hailing from diverse backgrounds and bringing a wide array of perspectives to our learning community.

What makes them particularly special is their resilience and eagerness to explore new avenues of learning, despite the challenges they face outside the classroom. By providing them with access to a MIDI controller, we are opening doors to a world where they can express themselves freely, explore different cultures through music, and develop skills that are crucial in today’s digital age.

The MIDI controller will allow our students to work collaboratively on music projects, fostering an environment of mutual respect and understanding. Our aim is to not only enhance their musical abilities but also to instill in them a sense of accomplishment and confidence that will resonate in all areas of their lives. With your support, we can make a significant difference in their educational journey, empowering them to reach their full potential and envision a brighter future.
