Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My second grade students are incredibly special because they thrive when given opportunities to express themselves creatively. By requesting floor drums, maracas, and cascabeles, I aim to provide them with regular music breaks during lessons, enhancing their learning experience. The variety of floor drums from Remo will allow my students to explore diverse sounds and vibrations, fostering their musical exploration and creativity. My goal for this project is to integrate music seamlessly into our daily routine, using it as a tool to reinforce lesson concepts and encourage student participation.
I believe that by empowering my students to create their own songs and rhythms, they will not only deepen their understanding of the curriculum but also develop a lifelong appreciation for music and self-expression!
