Help me give my students who can't afford a sketchbook an opportunity to have a hardbound one for artistic planning and personal drawing and expression.

My Project
The use of sketchbooks is a daily practice in my Art classroom and are used by students for planning and experimenting. Most students are able to buy their own sketchbooks as part of the requested supplies for the beginning of the school year, but some students simply don't have access. If a student comes to me privately and says they need assistance with getting a sketchbook, I always have a stack under my desk for these types of situations. I just ask the student to promise to use it and fill it up. It is such joy to give someone a tool, isn't it? I have to say, I love giving away sketchbooks to students who really need them and have a love of drawing. As I've stood on hall duty at my classroom door and welcoming students into the classroom, often students will come to show me their drawings that they have done on their own, and often, the drawings are done on lined notebook paper, because it is just what they have. I especially love giving sketchbooks to students like this!
Everyone loves a good tool, and giving a student a nice sketchbook for them to use for creative visual expression is a key to helping students with their visual voice!
I have purchased many sketchbooks, myself, for my students with my own money for years, but decided this year to see if anyone in the community would like to help. Thank you.
