My Project
We live in a technology-saturated society and reading, especially an actual physical book is falling by the wayside. Finding stories that engage and excite students is getting more difficult and even more so at times in a special education classroom. While trying to educate my students, I am also seeking to provide them, as seniors in high school, information that will help them in life.
Hard work and problem-solving will always be traits that will help a person be more successful.
This book exemplifies the idea of hard work, perseverance, grit, and resiliency and the possibilities that can happen because of it. Whether you are into sports or not, this story is about life and not giving up. I know I have some students who have experienced some difficulties in life and my hope is this story will help inspire every student to keep pushing and see that with hard work even things that seem unattainable, can still be a possibility.
