My students are special education students who are experiencing their senior year in a way that no one would have ever predicted. They are dealing with the anxiety related to a pandemic, struggles with online learning, a lack of meaningful social interactions, and widespread emotional struggles. As much as I try to connect with my students and give them a sense of belonging to our class, it is a difficult scenario. Anxiety and depression are rampant in schools, and being able to provide my students the best learning environment I can, shows I care! Thank you!
