This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work as a dual language teacher in Arizona at a title 1 school. My Fourth grade students just came back to school this week.
In order for them to learn all the wonderful things I have in store for them, their tummies and brains have to be happy.
However, for this to occur they have to have had a good breakfast before starting school.
Unfortunately, due to many different circumstances, many of my students will be coming to school hungry. I would like for you to help me change that. I would like to have snacks available for them in the classroom so that I may provide these to them during recess or at any time they share their need for food.
I highly ask that you consider adopting my class. They would be eternally grateful to you.
