My Project

I plan to use Happy Numbers to enhance student differentiation in math class. Happy Numbers provides students with fun activities to sharpen individual math skills. The program assesses student skills and targets these skills for practice. We all have a big span in student ability in our classrooms, and Happy Numbers is an additional tool to help close the achievement gap.

Each student can work at their own pace and level.

This can build confidence and help students feel successful at whatever skill level they are. Each student can work independently which also frees teachers to help other students and know that the others are working on a task that will strengthen their understanding of math skills.

W. School is a special place where students of all abilities and backgrounds feel valued and loved. We do not have the fundraising capability other schools in our community possess. Donors Choose is a valuable asset for teachers everywhere.
