Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school celebrates diversity. We want students to belong and be proud of their cultural traditions. Our district encourages everyone to accept people as they are. All people are welcome, all cultures, all genders, all beliefs, all religions, all orientations, and all ages.

Celebrating cultural traditions is important.It's tradition to wear new clothes on Lunar New Year.

We will be creating and personalizing t-shirts, mugs and tote bags for our students with symbols from the new Lunar New Year. It is exciting to be a part of my school's thinking in guiding the next generation to learn about Lunar New Year and come together in traditional and modern celebrations of this rich holiday.
