Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are preparing to celebrate the Lunar New Year (Year of the Horse) in February. To make this event festive and fun for everyone, we are seeking donations of three traditional items. The first items are colorful lanterns to beautifully decorate the classroom and symbolize happiness. Second, we need chocolate gold coins. The coins represent prosperity and it will be distribute to children in red envelopes. In addition, we are asking for fortune cookies to end the celebration with a fun message of good luck. Thank you for helping us celebrate the Lunar New Year! Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
