My students are so smart and creative. I teach at a Title I school. Many students receive free breakfast and lunch. Their families are barely getting by and can not afford school supplies for the classroom. These students love to learn. I want to help them reach their goals and build the confidence needed for an amazing future. My school is rated a "B." I want to help my school become an "A" by giving my students resources to increase their math and reading skills.
My Project
Right now, my students sit in tables of four in the classroom. Students sit close together and are not able to social distance from one another.
To keep my students healthy, I would like to give my students each their own desk to sit in.
By giving my students their own space, they can stay healthy by socially distancing from each other. This additional seating will keep my students safer during the pandemic by creating a healthy classroom environment as well as give my students their own space to grow academically.
