My students need headphones and microphones to use with their iPads. Often times, my students are unable to come with the equipment they need to go along with our one-to-one devices.

My Students

My students come from a rural, farming community. We are a high poverty school with many students moving in and out of our district. Students in our classroom range in academic level and have high needs for small group instruction. We are a one-to-one iPad school and fully integrate this technology into our classroom.

My second graders are enthusiastic to learn and are full of energy.

They need lots of sensory opportunities to keep them engaged on the lessons we are learning throughout the day.

With such a diverse group of students, we are constantly finding new ways to learn in our classroom.

My Project

My second grade students are lucky to have one-to-one devices in their classroom. In order to prepare my students for the 21st century, they are creating and recording their learning in the Seesaw app. My students need the capability to record their voices on their iPad.

Most of my students will not be able to come with the extra materials they need to start the school year.

With the funding of this project, I would be able to put headphones and a microphone in my students hands.

With headphones, my students will create projects that they can share with their family and friends. This project will show my students what it means to be a 21st century learner.
