Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Kids learn to think imaginatively as they play out scenarios in their world.

Imaginative play or make-believe play, plays a crucial role in child development.

Pretend play provides a strong context for children to explore, learn, and develop essential cognitive, emotional, and social skills. The materials including baby doll dress clothes, and a refrigerator will allow for PreK to explore their child development processes by role playing as adults caring for a baby or providing a cooked meal. The bells will engage the students use of self-expression via a musical output.

All these materials are selected to help the development of the child's language use, thinking processes, emotional expression, and creativity. Let's play!
