This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students use technology in the classroom every day. Various adaptive chromebook programs assist them in reading, math, and writing at the independent levels of each of my students. Unfortunately, we do not have funding for each child to have their own pair of headphones, and inexpensive earphones do not have the necessary microphone component.
My project aims to provide students with working headphones so that they can focus on their work without distractions.
The embedded microphones will also allow students to record their reading so that I can monitor growth and assist them appropriately.
